yesterday I rode
Sharing breakfast of porridge & apple juice with my daughter, reflected on the route I’d take. pumped up tyres, ran an eye over the bike.
Get dressed - base layer, bib shorts, jersey, socks accidentally matching jersey.
Consider arm-warmers, contemplate the season changing early. Roll off from the kerb side, and spin up the road, heading for Ashdown Forest.
